Who had railroad ties for trade?

Looking at using railroad ties for a base for the round pen. Hubby found some that are grade 1, class B @ $15 each. Seems a little high but does it make a huge difference for the grade 1/class B?

We are in Sebastopol, near Santa Rosa - Sonoma County. So I guess we have to look into travel costs. Looking for 50-75.

That was me! But we don't have any right now. I know in Oregon they are getting them for between $8 and $10 right now. $15 seems high!!

they are super cheap...
i just saw an ad for 2.99 fence post quality ties... i the paper..

and they have better quality on up... to bridge ties which are the longer ones...

sorry i don't have their number...

but we have bought from them before and they are right off of hwy 70.
