We bought it for my 11 year old son to ride a sway back horse. We don't have the horse anymore and we have other barepack pads if we need one. I thought this might be a good way to get my daughter the English tack she wants so she can alternate between English and Western.

Its really best for a slender adult or larger child. Its great to use with a new horse while waiting for a properly fit saddle. We also used it because it is very light and easy to move around when the horse is in one place and the regular saddle is in another.
