I have a fabulous 9 year old, 16.2hh gray warmblood approved thoroughbred mare who is just too much horse for me. Sophie is a registered thoroughbred mare who is approved Main Mare Book I with RPSI and ISR/Oldenburg, and who has had 4 foals (only 3 live, one was stillborn). As far as I know, she is an easy foaler, and a good mom (none of the foals were with me). She has done nothing but be a broodmare up until this year, and now I've had her started under saddle by an eventing trainer. She is walk/trot/learning canter under saddle, going to get started on trot poles/small crossrails in the next week or two. This mare is a stunner, and should be a standout in the ring, with very fluid forward movement and beautiful conformation. She definitely needs a confident, experienced rider, but one who is quiet and enjoys bringing along a green horse. Sophie could also easily fall back into the broodmare roll as well and produce top quality babies for the hunter and dressage rings.
I'm looking to trade her for a horse more suitable for me...I'd like something in the 14.3-16hh range, ages 6-15, well broke, very kind temperament. Can have some spunk, but not spooky or nutty. Looking at many breeds, and the horse does not have to be registered. I want to do a little eventing, a little dressage, lots of trail riding and just general enjoying my horse...so something trusthworthy and fun. Any color, mare or gelding, but must be sound! If you think you have, or know of something suitable for me and would be interested in meeting my mare, please feel free to private message me or email me. I have pictures, and will likely have video this week too.
Thanks!
