Thanks I just have used the same bits for so many years, never pay any attention to them, To me it just looked like what we call shanked snaffles, I always ask opinions as I dont' know what bit does what, too many out there, so confusing to me. (but I DO know the difference between mechanical hacks and bosals! 
)
