I give my dogs rawhide chews. They love them! I make sure to get some made from American rawhide and only give them when I'm around and for an hour at a time tops. Never had any problems! I also have plenty of cheap dog toys, that they can destroy if they feel like it (mainly the rope kind, because all the stuffed ones are gone by now...). And I just got some Nyla bones, which surprisingly both my dogs love! You can also try bully sticks, those seem yummy for them too...
