Rawhide Chews

I have a year old Queensland that is still chewing everything in sight! Has anyone had a bad experience with the rawhide chews that are sold at the pet stores? These are the chews that have the knots at the end of the chew. Do they help? I've given him bones with stuffing but he loses interest. He destroys toys and has ripped up several beds! Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
