We are seeking information pertaining to two Canadian dog Mushers who traversed through Loraine County from Sandusky and Toledo regions en route to the New Yorks' World Fair in 1939. We have reports from the Sandusky Register dated March 24th - Friday " Headed Huskies,Two Guides on trip East" and from the Toledo Blade dated Wednesday March 22nd 1939 headed " Guides,Dogs depart today - they were en route to Loraine and then on to Cleveland and headed for New York City for the worlds'fair of April 1939 - in which they completed their 3800 mile journey.
