For the past 6 months I have had an ongoing problem with my cavalier. When I try to accelerate it takes an extra long time to get up to speed. The acceleration is extremely rough, kind of like someone playing with the gas peddal. The problem doesn't occur each time I accelerate and once it's up to speed it's fine, it's just getting it up to speed that's the problem. I have had my spark plugs, ignition wires, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator and crank shaft sensor all replaced. With each fix the problem would stop for about a week and then start up again. I also put dry gas in the tank and tried using a higher octane of gas. Any ideas, of the problem or the fix? Please Help.
