95 Grand am

I bought a 1995 Grand am and now it is making a noise when you put the brakes on and all the brakes are brand new the car had sat for one week now we are moving the car back and forward in the drive way i think it is only rust on the brakes i hope. could some one let me know if that is the only promblem
