1996 Buick - ABS Problem

Hi, I own a 1996 Buick Regal 4 door Custom. I am experiencing a problem with my ABS system. When I brake the Low Trac light comes on making it difficult to brake and eventually the ABS light comes on. Just to let you know there is no ice on the ground as that is when ABS usually kicks in.I have had my brakes checked and they are okay. I have had my shocks checked and they are okay. Any one have any ideas?
