i have a 1990 chevy pickup and i have done everything you can think of to fix it i changed the pump, thermistat,radiator,sending unit,fixed fan, took the head off looked for washed cylenders or pluged holes or cracks.it only overheats when i put a thermastat in it or hot days and it heats up like instantly.it seems its only one side though.i did presure checks on the coolant system,vacum check,compresion checks,and exaust in the antifreeze check and everything comes out good im leening towards the head is bad but i dont want to buy heads and thats not the oroblem so if you could help me find out what it could be i would be exstatic.
