I had a similar problem with mine 03 chev venture. There was a hesitation going into drive. Almost like tranny was slipping then it would grab. After arguing with the service department they finally agreed that they would look at it. Replaced modulator valves or something like that. Once that was done it drove very smooth for next 15 months. now it is starting to do it again.
