2000 chev venture transmission

about 4 weeks ago , need to warm up for about 3-5 minutes befrore vehicle would take off in drive. This week would not go at a stop light. the vehicle was pushed by another car i put it in dre just to see if it would go and it did at 30 mph. it drove fine . but when i stopped at the next light had to repeat process again of being pushed then it kicked in.
