from what problems i had with my s10 it is most likely the hub bearing or one of the wires. on the newer vehicles like you have the abs is all elictrical and runs into the hub bearing. if the hub bearing is busted inside this could be the problem, or the wire running to one of the hub bearings could be broken and is shorting out. the easiest fix i have found is to change the entire hub bearing, but before you do you should check each side to see if one is obviously broken or busted.
