
Posted by CCR 2 c. SIFTED all-purp. flour * * Sift BEFORE measuring. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Sift flour w/ baking powder, sugar, and salt into lg. bowl. With 2 knives or pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese, onion, and dillweed; mix well. Combine milk & beaten egg; pour into flour mixture all at once. Stir quickly w/ fork just to moisten flour mixture. Turn into prepared pan. Bake 40-45 mins or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan, 10 mins. Turn out on wire rack to coll completely, or serve slightly warm. Makes 1 loaf.

I have the card in front of me; ingredients are different from posted recipe.
2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter or reg. margarine, cut in 4 parts
1 c. grated, sharp, natural Cheddar cheese (1/4 lb.)
1 Tbsp. grated onion
1-1/2 tsp. dried dillweed
3/4 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
