Thanks so much for your response. I will try this recipe, but am sure it is not the one I am looking for as the only cereal ingredient or snack ingredient in it was the bugles, no other cereal. The coating was also more like toffee coated peanuts, probably made with brown sugar, butter and karo syrup. The rest of the ingredients were the various nuts and dried fruit. Thanks again for responding and I'll be sure and try. Still hoping to find the recipe with the bugle snacks, various nuts and dried fruit.
