Hello, what a tremendous surprise to recieve a response and recipe regarding Orange Sticky
called mother-in-law with recipe instructions and forwarding this lovely and most considerate recipe with
your timely response and attention to detail for this recipe
she is so overcome and can't wait to recieve this correspondence and give it a try.

: : Not sure if this is the one you need but perhaps worth

: 3/4 lb. flour
: 1 oz yeast (or one 6gm sachet of dried yeast)
: 3 oranges. grated rind and juice.
: 4 oz. sugar
: 1/2 teaspoon salt
: 2 oz. margarine.
: Tepid water. (with orange juice to measure about 3/4
: pint)
: 2oz. finely chopped pecan nuts.

: Glaze. 2 tablespoons milk and 2 tablespoons of caster
: sugar

: Put flour in a bowl with orange rind and salt.
: Cream yeast with the sugar and tepid water/juice.
: Rub margarine into flour
: Make well in centre and add yeast mix and pecan nuts.
: Mix to form a soft dough.
: Cover and place in a warm place for about an hour
: (until doubled in size)
: Shape into a loaf or several buns.
: Pre-heated oven 475. Loaf will take approx 1 hour,
: buns 15 - 20 mins, according to size.

: Prepare glaze just before buns have finished cooking.
: Simmer sugar and milk gently for 2 mins until nice and
: gooey.
: Remove cooked buns and brush with glaze whilst hot.
: Allow to cool on wire tray.
