I had a recipe for "Farmhouse French Onion Soup" which was a newspaper recipe somewhere between 1979 and 1982, from a Richmond Virginia area newspaper. It contained, among other things:
3 cups water
1-2 tsps worchestershire sauce
White wine
butter (lots!)and
onions.
cheeses, cheddar/swiss
french bread
But I have lost the recipe and the amounts are mixed up. Please help me find this. It was the best I have ever tasted!
