My Grandmother made a sugar cookie, or a shortbread cookie, I do not know which it was I was so young, but it sometimes was brushed with maybe egg yoke and then sprinkled with sugar, sometimes she had raisins in them. They seem like they would have been rolled, maybe kneeded, they remind me more of a shortbread cookie, or scone. I remember, they sometimes had flour left on them. They, if I can remember, must have had only a few ingredients, like flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla, butter (Lard), but I can not find any one who would have had a reipe like this. I would like for my grandchildren to experience these cookies if I can find the recipe. Will you please help?
