POSITION: Certified Athletic Trainer
The Work-Fitâ division of Healthtrax is a leading provider of work-site healthcare, focusing on injury prevention, injury rehabilitation, fitness and wellness services. Work-Fit is currently looking for candidates to fill positions in Michigan.
The applicant must possess the following qualifications:
1. Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training for the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
2. Fulfillment of the requirements for certification established by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification, Inc. (NATABOC) for all Athletic Trainers.
3. Current CPR Certification (can be provided by Work-Fit®).
4. Training in use of A.E.D. (automatic Electrical Defibrillation) can be provided by Work-Fit®.
5. Five years of athletic training experience in a clinical setting.
6. Skill in manual therapy techniques is preferred.
The position will assist the Center Manager in the following areas of operations:
1. Evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries
2. Supervision and development of fitness and conditioning programs for employees
3. Implementation of Injury Prevention Programming
4. Active participation in Wellness Programming Implementation (i.e. Newsletter articles and bulletin board presentations on health and exercise topics)
5. Collection of data pertinent to required records for:
a. Rehabilitation
b. Fitness/Wellness
c. Injury Prevention Programming
6. Equipment supervision and facility up-keep
7. Adhere to all client-required safety and environmental policies
8. Adhere to the Work-Fit® Centers Standard Operating Procedures
