BMW M3 wont pass inspection

Nick, Help!:
I have a 95 BMW M3. An aftermarket suspension was put in the car. My BMW shop failed it for an inspection because of this fact. The car isnt lowered or anything. I called the state police and they said that aftermarket suspensions are ok. My BMW shop wants like 4k to put the old suspension in. I just need to get the thig inspected. What can I do? where should I go? -Mike
