Battery power

Hi yeah my car is 1963 Impala and the starter went out and i replaced it. An the car battery started dying out. So i replaced the alternator and it still happened. So i changed the battery and when i did that the car ran fine for a day as i was dying the car started dying out slowly the lights started dimming and running bad. So when i let sit a hour it cranks over for a minuet but then dies. I replaced the starter wire to the battery and the ground wire. Can you help me?
