1987 Oldsmobile Digital Dash Fuel Gauge disappeared!!!

I have a 1987 Olds Delta 88. It has a digital dash. Last night (3-9-06), I was filling my fuel tank and I left the car running(i know that is stupid). Well i noticed that the digital fuel gauge didnt register the additional fuel. I turned the car off and restarted the car. Since that moment, I have had no fuel gauge at all. It is a blank spot on my dash. The only time I see it is when the dash lits up when you turn the key.
Someone please help me.
