88 chevy beretta stalls when wet out and/or run over good size puddles

i have an 88 chevy beretta,60000 miles, the car runs great with the exception of when its really raining and/or i run over good size puddles, after i hit a puddle car will conk out and within a few seconds will turn key and start right back up?????? any help would be appreciated.
