D TO C: DSA SOUTHERN STROKERS CLEAN SLATE WOLFPACK
E TO D: LTL SOUTHLAND GAMING & RACING MOST WANTED MONSTARS FULLY TORQUED AR ASSAULT AP SOFTBALL
Player classifications will be coming soon using a defined +/- rating system. We will post that soon and appeals will be discussed at the state meeting Dec 5 in Jacksonville, AR.
Players and their rating would be posted at arsoftball.com. Each player would be classified as B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, or D-.
Classification system will go something like this:
PLUS + Borderline above class player May NOT play below class Could move up a class if majority of play is in above class Impact player within their class -- #1 - #4 A team of these guys could play the above class
NEUTRAL May play below class as a chip Not eligible for appeal A "true" in class player -- #5 - #7 A team of these guys would be too strong for the below class
MINUS - May play below class as a HALF chip Eligible for appeal IF majority of time must be played below class Borderline below class player Role player within their class -- #8 - #11 player CAN drop a class if ALL play is below class a full year
Notes: Teams can have up to 3 chips. You may pickup up additional chips for specified tournaments which will also be discussed at the State meeting on Dec 5.
Players will NOT be penalized for playing above class.
JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE PLAYED ABOVE CLASS DOES NOT MAKE YOU THAT CLASS PLAYER
JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED IN A YEAR OR MORE DOES NOT DROP YOUR CLASS

Thank you and we are looking forward to a great 2016!
The only way they can play down is if only 3 go to a team. You are now labeled as a player and the team is bumped. So if you were on a bumped team you are now a blue chip and a new team can only have 3 blue chips total so how will they be able to play down as a team?
well as I have seen a few do over the past few years lets start a new team... 3 of the same players a couple tournaments later picked up a couple from the old team and allowed to play a couple more tournaments another player or 2. well by mid season pretty much same team that got bumped with the exception of a couple each week playing full time. and with teams carrying 15 plus on a roster they use it to there advantage saying well its not our normal team...
The system will never be perfect, your always gonna have teams that are afraid of competition and try to stay down. No one wants to get beat up but it's not a big accomplishment of you play teams half as good as you and are the top of your class
