Orlando basically makes it very difficult to drive to, so basically you have to fly and the rooms and everything are much more expensive in Kissimmee than in PCB.
Specifically in D and E, the fields are extremely large. Unfortunately, the percentage of teams in each class are largely sandbagging. That is asking a lot of legitimate teams to spend that quantity of money to travel and play teams improperly classed. This pissing contest between states has gotten out of control in regards to whom they allow to play in state, and how they regulate their own teams that travel out of state. WSL is no different in that regard. However, for the time being, WSL World in PCB is still on a small enough scale, that it makes a team's odds of success greater. Factor in distance and cost, its fairly clear why teams in the midwest are choosing PCB rather than Orlando. Make no mistake about it however, both World tournaments are ravaged by sandbagging. With no clear solution in sight, the eventuality is that the two World sites will continue to level out equally based on geographics. In other words, teams will choose the closer and less expensive option to enjoy their vacation, using a small sample of games played against sandbagging teams as their reason for travel.
