It's time for our regularly scheduled monthly muster. Report in please.
I'm concerned about the lack of activity on the message board, whether for musters among the regulars, or other inquiries. For the first time that I can remember, there have been literally no messages during the previous month other than the previous muster. Is it time to close down the message board as a cost-saving measure? Your thoughts?

All hands fall in to quarters for muster.

I post here on occasion, but check out the board regularly. I am not a former armed guard or merchant marine, but rather a Vietnam army vet. I enjoy reading the messages posted, and learning what my uncle and other armed guards endured during WWII. My uncle, Glen Dale Norris was lost at sea on Mar.10,1943 aboard the SS James Sprunt, when she was sank by a German Sub. in the Atlantic off the coast of Cuba. Therefore, I for one would hate to see this site close.
