In a telephone message a day or two ago, your Webmaster learned that C.A. Lloyd, Chairman of the Armed Guard Veterans Association, had a heart attack on December 14. He was in the hospital for five days and had surgery to place stents. He is now recuperating at home. His doctor has told him he is not allowed to climb stairs, and his computer is ... upstairs.
Many of you may know C.A. or have communicated with him. You may also be familiar with "The Pointer" magazine that he publishes, pretty much out of his own pocket, several times a year. C.A. is his own vast repository of Armed Guard knowledge, as he and two of his brothers were in the Armed Guard, and he organized and has operated the Veterans Association for many years.
Please keep C.A. and his wife Hilda in your thoughts and prayers. Get-well cards and letters would be especially appreciated.
