It's the first day of another month, and alghough March may have come in like a lion in some places it made its entry very much like a lamb here in Los Angeles. The air temperature outside is in the eighties. Also, I've paid my taxes. To say that all's right with the world would be to exaggerate, but I have no complaints -- no new ones, that is.

Thanks for the reminder, Farn. I am looking forward to some Spring weather, green grass and Spring flowers. Winter is not my favorite time of the year............ but then, the more you have the longer you live. My wife and I are still in good health, thank the Lord. I am looking forward to the trip to the UK in May with student from the College of the Ozarks to help celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of the North Atlantic. There are 8 veterans and 16 college students + some facilty going for 10 days. I hope to meet a couple of my British friends who were in the same convoy to Murmansk in March 1942. Cheers. John Haynes

It has been a long winter here in Wisconsin. First time we have missed going South in 22 years. My bad back kept me home this year. Hopefully I will be better shape next year to spend about 3 months in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Hope you all and your spouses stay well. Looks John like you have a good summer planned. Gerry Burr
