Hi Steve, my name is John Haynes and I was a Naval Armed Guard seaman gunner aboard the SS Eldena in Convoy PQ-13 and I wrote the book “Frozen Fury, The Murmansk Run of Convoy PQ-13”. I did not know anyone on the Induna at the time, but I have been in communication with Austin Byrne, austinbyrne@talktalk.net, who was aboard the Induna when she was sunk. Austin lives in the UK and I talk with him frequently. I feel sure that Austin would be delighted to make contact with you. I will send him an email and relay your message and you can contact him also. Keep me posted on your progress. My email is, jhsoar@gmail.com . Good luck. John Haynes

Steve, thank you for your interest in my book. I have copies of “Frozen Fury” that I sell at a better price than you can get from the publisher or Amazon.com. Send me an email and we can make it happen. I am also interested in your comment, “I’m an artist and going to making some work in the finding I get”. I’d be interested in hearing what you have in mind. John Haynes
