I see that some of the pictures are from the collection from Irving Markowitz, brooklyn, ny. I would love to know if this is my grandfather and if this is the boat he served on

I noticed that Mr. Irving Markowitz posted some photos of the medical staff on the web site of the JW McAndrew. My father is in uniform on the far right of the first photo and on the far right upper row of the second photo. He was Harold Muendel, MD and was the transport surgeon. I wondered if Mr. Markowitz remembers him, and if he has any more photos with my father in them. Thank you.

Yes, this is your grandfather and I posted the photos years ago. He was my uncle. Rhona knows about the site.

I am karen's son. Thanks for sharing the pics. He was about my age when these pictures were taken. I loved seeing them.

I know who you are. How are your folks and your brothers and sisters?
When Naomi & I left Brooklyn we took lots of photos that were in the basement that were going to be left behind as junk.
We are living in Williamsburg, Va and have more photos of Irving from WWII which I would be happy to e-mail to you. Send me your e-mail address.
