My grandfather served in the Navy in ww2. His name was Charles Henson. Recently, I came across some names in an old photo album. Here are some of his buddies, who I would like to correspond with if I can. Harry Thompson of Indianapolis, In Oscar Kolman of Beatrice Neb Floyd Collins of Parson, Kansas Paul McConnell of New Castle, Penn
If you know any of these people, or remember my grandfather, please, by all means, let me know.

Leanna,
According to the Social Security Death Index (https://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com):
Men with the name Harry Thompson of Indianapolis, Indiana, died in November 1981, May 1987 and December 1987.
A man named Oscar Kolman of Beatrice, Nebraska, died in May 1994.
A man named Floyd M. Collins of Parson, Kansas, died May 27, 2004.
A man named Paul M. McConnell of New Castle, Pennsylvania, died March 28, 2006.
It is possible, of course, that the men identified above are not the individuals you are seeking, since they may have relocated since the time their names and home towns were noted in the photographs you have. Moreover the names Harry Thompson, Floyd Collins and Paul McConnell are not entirely uncommon so it is not certain whether any death record for men with these names is or is not the person in question. On the other hand I was able to find death records in which the name and home town matched with the information you have, which may be more than coincidental. And in any case, many if not most World War II Navy veterans have passed on by now, regrettably.
