Stll kickin' around

Yep, I'm still kickin'around...although I can't kick nearly as high as I once did!
My wfe and I each have our health problems, however, when we compare ours with some others we are indeed fortunate!
Many of our friends and relatives have died while others have lost their spouse orare suffering terribly. Mary (my wife) and I are really blessed with health that allows us to still get out once in awhile and so far we sort of "take car" of each other. Each of us have a problem with short-time memory but we don't show signs of Alzheimers yet.
Hang in there all you swabbies and keep busy doing things that make your MIND work! I have read that it helps retain our memory.

Good to hear from you Roy. And as always I enjoy your postings. So I'm reporting in from Ca. And yesterday it was 113F. in the shade here in the outskirts of Red Bluff. Today its 111F. But this is the time of year where outside work is done by noon. The silence on this web site ts troubling??? Al

Hello to both of you and very glad that you are still kicking. I don't kick very high anymore my self but keep trying. The weather here has been strange this year.Normaly in July hi's in mid or upper 90's with a humidity at 75 to 80 % but no rain , this year hi's upper 70 to low 80 and lots of rain. Can't complain about that.

It's reassuring to see that I'm not the last one standing (more or less), but there are surely others who ought to be checking in. As for the weather, it's been hot as blazes here in Los Angeles, with no rain in sight. But as Al wisely points out, we're well into summer and what we have is just what we expect in this place at this time.
