One clarification to my previous post. There was no unique award for Armed Guards in WWII. However, in WWI, the Armed Guard was awarded a special "Armed Guard" clasp for the WWI Victory Medal.

There was no unique medal issued for Armed Guard Service. Armed Guard members were, of course, eligible for other medals based on normal requirements. Rick
