Humanitarian treatment by U-boats

Can anyone help me locate individuals who experienced humanitarian treatment by the U-boat that sank their ship? I am especially interested in medical, food, water, and other assistance that ultimately saved the lives of those who survived the sinking. Thanks

I will respond to this soon I can give you a phone number to someone who witnessed this first hand. Cannot elaborate right now but I have good info for this inquiry.
