Those only show trips ending in the port of NY. In your case most of the 40 odd resulting trips appear to be of the same mariner, a deck officer, typically 1st or 2nd Mate; in his career on oil tankers.
When I did this for my grandfather, the results showed 24 trips. After later applying for and receiving his full service record from the US Coast Guard (they accepted his family's application for military discharge papers and complete service record, based on his WW2 service in the US Merchant Marine); documented trips to seaports other than NY more than tripled that number.
For me, the research continues along the lines I found instructed on web sites like this one. One surprising benefit is how it brought my grandfather's sea stories to life with new details. Another was regaining custody of the medals and citations so many of those mariners earned by their wartime service.
