A little further information has come to light - Dominic Michael was recruited into the USED in Trinidad in late 1942 by a man called Kenneth Simpson. I believe they met at a function held for survivors from torpedoed ships. He sailed on the Delamar for the dry dock in Barbados sometime in December 1942 (I think). I believe it was the Delamar that needed repair. Here he met and married (30 Jan 1943)his wife - a local girl called Evelyn Genevieve Agard at the Cathedral in Bridgetown. It would appear that over the next few months he made various trips to and from places such as British Guyana and Mobile.
Any thoughts on possibilities to follow up will be gratefully received.
