My message goes to something more prosaic. For our veterans, what do you remember about the day Pearl Harbor became an event and not just a place? How did you hear the news? What happened in your family or in your community? What did you think? What did you do? And for any of us too young not to have been around at the time, what stories did you later hear from your parents and grandparents and others? Take us back 70 years ...
