I found my father's name on a passenger list for the USAT Shawnee in March 1943. Handwriting at the top of the page says, "Survivors s/s Benjamin Harrison." The Harrison was torpedoed by a U boat on 4 March. The Shawnee left Algeria on 24 March and arrived in Brooklyn around 8 April (hard to read).
Can anyone help me find information about these two ships and their passengers?
Thank you, Judith King
