Dear Mr. Haynes, Thank you for your most eloquent respond. No one could have written so beautifully, and covered evey aspect of what we American's must and should be. As my heart went out to those in Joplin, Mo.,my heart was breaking for the people there. For those who lost their homes, their loved ones, for those missing. It looked like there had been a war there. But two things that caught my eye, the two Flags that withstood the tornadoes. As I saw them on what looked like just small round poles. And I saw the steeple that still was standing as most of the church was distroyed. How it breaks my heart to see some of the people being so disrespectful, of something that means so much to me. I will forever place my hand over my heart, as I pledge my allegance to the Flag, I too, will say "UNDER GOD", if they kill me, And I will stand when a soilder walks in front of me, even though He or She could be my Grandchild. And I will alway's remember the WWII Veteran's, Forever my HERO"S, Forever in my heart and memories.I thank God for each of you who came home. On this MEMORIAL DAY, I SALUTE YOU, SIR. May God Bless and Keep you.
