I was 85 on 12 May and my wife and I were married on 30 April 1949. We are very fortunate that we are still together. Our health is not too good but we are able to get out some and are so grateful for everythig we have.
I was in the AG after signal school at Great Lakes. In combat the day before my 18th birthday.
Many years later I served in the Indiana Guard reserve and retired as a Lt. Colonel
I worked at several jobs...several years for the Navy Dept. here in Indiana. For a Daily Newspaper in Advertising for 19 years.
Lived in Hagerstown, Indiana for 52 years. My wife retired from the Perfect Circle Corp. there.
In January of 2006 our kids wanted us to move to Richmond, IN ...so here we are...two lucky old people still able to "git up and Go".
I write a couple of columns for area papers and enjoy it very much.
God Bless all.
Roy and Mary Brown
