I can't believe I am the only surviving US Army Cargo Security Officer from WWII (1943 - 1945+) I recently discovered the MILITARY.COM web and was impressed. I was given permission to start a page for Army Cargo Security Officers WWII( a kind of country cousin to the USNAG WWII) It looks like I am the sole survivor of CSO's. ( I will be 90 in Aug so it could be, could be). I sent in an application to the USNAG Assn several years ago and I am very grateful that I was not only accepted, but welcomed. Thanks again. Any WWII USNAG can certify that on Liberty ships, except for temporary movements, the only Army person aboard a Liberty was the CSO. While assigned as CSO/TRSPT CDR aboard the SS ELIHU YALE, (Jun 43 to Nov 43, We were part of many convoys in the "Med",/ (No Africa, Italy, Naples)
