I look forward to your book(s). They sound like they will be of great interest to those who have been in the convoys in those areas.
I am still amazed that during WWII we were able to shoot down the number of enemy aircraft we did without the use of all the "new-fangled" equipment available today!!
After WWII , I worked for the Dept. of the Navy as a civilian for several years and did work on some very interesting items.
It seems like the better able we are to destroy enemy aircraft, the fewer nations have any that we may need to. (Exceptions are China, Russia, North Korea). Maybe a few in Iran.
