It is almost impossible for people raised in this country, to realize how ANY person could wrap explosives around their body and go into a crowded area to explode himself/herself. Or to use conventional weapons to shoot many as at Ft Hood.
Our religious backgrounds are so different (generally), and culture totally different, that it almost seems like a nightmare to believe people such as those with a terrorist midset even exist!
The fact is, that they DO exist, and they are our deadliest enemy.
Their goal, their mission, is to spread their verision of Islam all over the world. They especially HATE JEWS and Americans.
They are NOT going away and there will be NO "negotiation" with them except the type of talks that THEY gain by.
I predict more, and completely different kind of attacks, here in our country before long.
I can see guerrilla warfare here in addition to attacks with the roadside explosives, RPG and grenades plus weapons.
Am I being paranoid? I don't think so. Our enemies are very smart and clever. They are prepared to fight this war to the end. Even if it takes years and years. They are quite difficult to fight because we either can't, or will not, associate them with a NATION/nations.
Iran, Syria, the Hezzbulla, Libya, Saudia Arabia, and others are amoung our enemies.
The Israelis WILL attack Iran VERY SOON...so we will probably be faced with a widespread war at that time.
