I am also looking for information on the USAT Shawnee. My Uncle William (Bill) Archie Lucas served in her from 6-11-45 through 18-9-45. This is the only ship that I can find in what records that I have been given by Navy Personnel Command. If any one has information or knows him please get in touch with me.
