My dad, my hero

My dad served in the CCC, then in WWII as a United State Navy Armed Guard. He was a gunner on 50 cal, 25mm AA and bigger guns. He served on three different liberty ships.

He loved the info you guys provided, the publications and all the information.

He was my dad first, and best friend second. These last few months have been a struggle. Even though his body was failing, he was so strong and proud.

I lost him May 24th.

Don't worry dad....we'll keep everything shipshape and make sure the hatches are battened.
