Well, Bob, at least Ron and I are still here!!!
My wife and I have had a few medical problems lately but hopefully they are OK for the time being!
As far as turkey in the Navy I can recall only one time having it...that was at Great Lakes in 1943. THAT was a very good meal!
I hope we can all have a great Thanksgiving Day
this year and live to see several more!
Maybe some of you guys who are from New Orleans or that area can tell us more about a main course called "turducken". It is a duck placed inside a turkey and a chicken placed inside the duck! Have any of you tried it? If so, tell us about it. It sounds very tasty. How did you cook it?
Come on all of you sailors, join in and let's have some "holiday cheer". Or at least email some holiday talk!
