I voted today.

Since this is a website of veterans I would like to ask a question. Even if it would be impossible.

If one of the prime duties of our President is to be Commander In Chief do you think some type of military service should be a requirement of the job? I am not saying you have to be a war hero. Just some type of military service.

My answer is Yes. I am not a veteran so I would be excluding myself from the job. Since I have only been in the corporate world I will make a civilian comparison. I think the best CEO's started out in the mail room (Jack Welch). I think our Commander In Chief should have service to our country. Even if it was in the mailroom.
