Both the YMS and the PCE ships that you were kind enough to give me a link to were placed at one time in the 3rd Naval District (Dad's assignment)reserve fleet as a "school" ship for reservist. This must be at Fort Schuyler. I think I might have a couple 1943 Blue Jacket Manuels that never were returned to the library. 65 years of over due book late fees
