THANK YOU! I have just begun to search for information regarding my father Dunae Wootan who served as a signalman in the Merchant Marines during WWII. And there he was on ancestry.com. Can you tell me more about the armed guard. we found a receipt that he had turned in ta complete armed guard uniform and he was to keep that receipt until reassigned.
